First of all, a big thank you to everyone who helped make our first annual photo contest a success. The Hedberg Home team was absolutely stunned by the amount and variety of projects that were submitted. Everyone from builders to masons, and designers to homeowners took part in the fun. And you all have such great talent!
But before we get to the big winners, we’d like to take a moment to congratulate the runner ups. While they didn’t quite make the cut, they do still deserve some proper appreciation.

We’re kicking things off with a project image that transports you to the frontier and invites you to stay awhile. The timber frame home designed by M.T.N. Design does a wonderful job showcasing the impressive scale and natural colors of the stone – and offers a lesson in coordinating material selections.
The masterful masonry work by SJB Masonry sets the stage and allows the siding, roof and windows to all join the stone in this bold, cohesive design that is sure to inspire envy for years to come.
Our eyes can’t stop dancing across this capture. Great work to all involved!

Yet where complexity can draw us in and create strong visual appeal, sometimes quality images are marked by their simplicity.
This fireplace image by Tichy Stone & Brick/Fred Pagenkopf does just that by getting right to the point. While there’s not a lot of ornament and frill to entertain the eye, the exceptional masonry work and charming product speaks for itself.
